Dans le Rh?ne, seules 14 communes (sur 293) comptent des ressortissants de l’UE non-fran?ais parmi leurs candidats. Le reste des candidats se répartit entre le Nouveau Centre (2 àVaulx-en-Velin), les listes divers droite (2 à Givors et Neuville) ou divers gauche (1 à Saint-Priest), LO (1 à Villeurbanne), Gauche moderne (1 à Vaulx-en-Velin), PS-PCF-Verts (1 à Saint-Genis) et PCF (1 à Givors).
Ces classements restent bien entendu de simples indicateurs quantitatifs, à ne pas prendre trop au sérieux, néanmoins on peut considérer qu’ils révèlent des tendances intéressantes en ce qui concerne notamment l’ouverture vers les autreset la volonté politique de faire vivre l’Europe au quotidien. Il serait intéressant de compléter cette étude par des études similaires dans d’autres départements ainsi que par une analyse qualitative pour confirmer ou relativiser nos conclusions.

August is the month when many people take vacations.  It is a time to leave our familiar surroundings and immerse ourselves in a different landscape. This deep reflection inspired by the hawk was both humbling and empowering. It reminded me of another question I had recently read in Angeles Arrien's book, The Second Half of Life: "Can I be aware of my faults while remaining high in self esteem?" Authenticity after all begins with being honest with ourselves; only then can we truly embrace our unfolding.

As an adult, I suspect you don't have such clarity with your senses. Let us never forget that child inside us that knew how to play all day and never tire. Our creativity was endless and filled with anticipated joy in knowing that what was about to be created next would be fun.
